I remember back when I couldn't draw this guy, I'm so happy I can finally draw him decently
This is my 'fallen angel' OC. I still have to write his background
Basically, he's part of a race the humans call angels because they live in the sky and have wings like angels are envisioned to. There was a rebellion against the Aristocracy and Gareth was in the rebellion. His fellow rebels betrayed him and gave him up as the mastermind of the attack (he really was just a scapegoat, he had nothing to do with any of the plans) to save themselves and lessen their punishment once the Aristocracy crushed the rebellion. His wings were taken and he was cast down to earth to live with the humans, pretty much an entirely different way of life. All of these angel-like people have a power or magical ability. Gareth's was the ability to create and manipulate ice (Elsa from Frozen is a good comparison to what he can do) he didn't get the power taken away, just his wings. The ultimate punishment is instead of execution, there is one of them that is able to remove the wings of another as their power so they are the equivalent of an executioner. Then the one being cast out is in a room in which the floor opens up and they fall to earth, if they can survive using their powers then they live. If not then they fall to their death. Gareth obviously survived, he had a really good friend who slipped away from the others and made sure he survived. He had quite a few friends stand up for him but the Aristocracy wanted to punish someone so they punished him. The people against him outweighed the ones for him.
